Repairing drainage systems – when it makes sense

One of our core competencies is repairing drainage systems. With the help of drainage plans, the defective site is located and the defect is rectified. If no drainage plan is available, then we will trace out the drainage system using our   tracking system. (link to cartography)

The most common forms of damage and the repair measures at a glance:

Repairing drainage problems
Tree roots grown into the drainage system: remove the roots; replace the drainage pipe with an unperforated one
Plugging up from rapeseed roots: flush the drainage system or dig it up
Dented drainage systems: repair by replacing the drainage pipes
Filled-in or slurried drainages: flush or replace
Clogged drainage systems: flush or replace
Sinking drainage systems: secure with planks
Broken connectors: replace the connector piece
Blocked openings: flush or replace drainage system

Is the drainage repair worthwhile?
If a drainage system is so badly damaged that repair would be very expensive, then it may be better to replace the drainage system with a new one. In general, it is also more economical since the costs will pay for themselves over the next 25 years.
